Training-of-Trainers Workshop on Teaching Methods and Training Coordination

Description

The aim of this course is to improve participants' skills in training implementation and facilitation. This training-of-trainers (TOT) gives participants exposure to adult learning principles and training methodologies, and provides an opportunity for practicing these methods in a safe environment where they can receive feedback from trainers and fellow participants. Since the tutors also play a role in organizing and implementing continuing education activities, a session on how to effectively plan, implement and evaluate training is also included. The TOT lasts for 6 days which allows time for both didactic sessions on how to train effectively as well as time for participants to prepare and present sessions to the rest of the class. The TOT training package contains slides, a facilitator guide, and a participant handbook.
