08/2009 DescriptionThe Botswana Ministry of Health Training Standards were developed due to of a lack of human capacity to carry out tasks related to HIV prevention and care. The Training Standards were adapted from ITECH's Training Standards. The purpose of the Training Standards is to identify the minimum requirements for the provision of HIV related care. This manual was designed to be used as a standard for all program managers, training officers and trainers providing in-service HIV/AIDS-focused training to health care providers.
