08/2008 DescriptionThis 5-day course, designed to train pharmacists to work with HIV-infected clients, contains comprehensive training materials on basic HIV, AIDS and antiretroviral therapy (ART). The materials were developed in order to increase healthcare provider knowledge about HIV infection and to improve care and treatment for HIV-infected clients. Curriculum materials for the training sessions include items for both facilitators and participants. PowerPoint slides and facilitator materials are available for each session. Also available for use during the course are videos that present instructive case scenarios.
