05/2008 DescriptionThis is a 5-day course designed to train nurses to work with HIV-infected patients. It contains comprehensive training materials on basic HIV, AIDS and antiretroviral therapy (ART). The materials were developed in order to increase healthcare providers' knowledge about HIV infection and improve care and treatment for patients who are HIV-infected. Curriculum materials for the training sessions include items for both facilitators and participants.
