The aim of this 2-day course is to train health care workers how to perform dried specimen blood collection for HIV DNA PCR testing for infants. The course provides background information on dried blood spot testing in Namibia, methods for performing the procedure, pre- and post-test counselling skills, and a hands-on practice session in the clinic or hospital setting.
