This course has been developed to assist caregivers and people living with HIV/AIDS to manage their illness at home. It is designed to provide a broad overview of the various aspects of home-based care and cover the importance of home-based care practices in Indian community settings. It includes information about the basics of HIV, psychosocial problems faced by people living with HIV, nutrition and food safety, symptom management, palliative care, and care of women and children.
